Very predictable result when third ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (13-5) won against on the road 10th ranked Titanicos (8-13) 92-84. Halcones UV Xalapa made 20-of-22 charity shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Antoine Wright (201-84, college: Texas A&M) who scored 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import forward Adrian Henning (203-82, college: Austin Peay St.) chipped in 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Senegalese center Babacar Camara (211-81, college: CS Fullerton) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Jumaine Jones (202-79, college: Georgia, agency: SDJ Sports) added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Five Titanicos players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Halcones UV Xalapa. They maintain third place with 13-5 record having four points less than leader Halc.Rojos. Newly promoted Titanicos keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. Halcones UV Xalapa will have a break next round. Titanicos will play again at home against Halcones UV Xalapa (#3) and hope to win that game.
