The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked Umea's (5-10) road victory over 10th ranked Eco Orebro (2-12) 91-86. It looked good early as Eco Orebro took an 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Umea took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 5 points. It was a great evening for American point guard Omar Krayem (185-86, college: Cal.Baptist) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard, agency: Court Side) helped adding 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Krayem is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Umea players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Cliff Colimon (182-89, college: E.Washington) responded with 27 points and Danish guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists. Umea moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Nassjo. Eco Orebro lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 12 games lost. Umea will play against league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins in Norrkoping in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eco Orebro will play on the road against Sundsvall Dragons (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
