The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Limoges CSP Elite as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Limoges CSP Elite defeated 5th ranked Chalon/Saor at home 78-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Chalon/Saor. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-63.
