The game between 17th ranked Bayi Rockets (3-14) and third ranked Guandong Tigers (13-3) in Ningbo on Wednesday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Dongguan outscored Bayi Rockets 116-76. The game without a history. Guandong Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Rockets' 48 and made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. The former international center ZhongHao Xu (212-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Yuchen Zou (197-96) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Bayi Rockets in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Guandong Tigers maintains third place with 13-3 record having seven points less than leader Liaoning H. Bayi Rockets lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventeenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Sichuan BW and Chongqing FD. Guandong Tigers will meet at home Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#15) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Bayi Rockets will play against Shanghai Sharks and hope to secure a win.
