Regular Season Round 6: Pelita Jaya - NSH GMC 87-66

Bottom-ranked NSH GMC is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked Pelita Jaya (3-1) 87-66 on Wednesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Pelita Jaya. NSH GMC managed to win fourth quarter 24-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pelita Jaya forced 20 NSH GMC turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Faisal Achmad (180-81) notched 12 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and center Adhi Prasetyo (194-93) supported him with 13 points. Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists by forward Raylly Pratama Putra (195-90) did not help to save the game for NSH GMC. Guard R. Azzaryan Pradhitya (181-92) added 21 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pelita Jaya moved-up to third place, which they share with Garuda and CLS Knights. Loser NSH GMC still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with JNE BSC. Pelita Jaya will meet Bimasakti (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. NSH GMC will have a break next round.
