Regular Season Round 21: Titanicos - Halc.Rojos 77-104

LNBP top team - Halcones Rojos (16-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Titanicos (8-13) 104-77. The game was mostly controlled by Halcones Rojos. Titanicos was better in fourth quarter 29-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Halcones Rojos players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Titanicos' players. International point guard Paul Stoll (180-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 assists for the winners and American guard Tu Holloway (182-89, college: Xavier) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Four Halcones Rojos players scored in double figures. Halcones Rojos' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Isaiah Wilkerson (190-90, college: NJIT) with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Senegalese center Babacar Camara (211-81, college: CS Fullerton) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Halcones Rojos. They maintain first place with 16-3 record. Newly promoted Titanicos keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Correcaminos. Halcones Rojos will play against Abejas (#8) in Guanajuato in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Titanicos will play at home against Halcones UV Xalapa and hope to get back on the winning track.
