Regular Season Round 2: Al Riyadi - Champville 86-76

Al Riyadi defeated Champville in Beirut 86-76. The game was mostly controlled by Al Riyadi. Champville managed to win third quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Al Riyadi especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Ahmad Ibrahim (198-92, college: Rice) who scored 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American-FYR Macedonian forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St.) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. International forward Bassel Bawji (203-89, college: Tulsa) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Georgian power forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili (212-83, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Champville will play next round against strong Homenetm. B trying to get back on the winning streak. Al Riyadi will try to continue on its current victory against Tadamon on the road.
