Not a big story in a game in Galdakao where 7th ranked Real Celta Vigo (3-4) was defeated by leader GDKO Bizkaia (7-0) 71-62 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 37-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Real Celta Vigo was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard Juana Molina-Prados (172-91) who led her team to a victory scoring 37 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws). Center Miren Agirregoikoa (191-87) helped adding 7 points and 17 rebounds. At the losing side Mali center Minata Keita (190-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and forward Maria Perez Araujo (184-97) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for GDKO Bizkaia. They keep a position of Group A leader, which they share with Ensino. Loser Real Celta Vigo dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. GDKO Bizkaia will face league's leader Maquinaria Ensino in Lugo in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Real Celta Vigo will play at home against Arxil Pontevedra (#3) and hope to win that game.
