Regular Season Round 12: Stal Ostrow - Krosno 80-65

There was a change at the 1Liga leadership position after last games. Round 12 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Krosno (10-2). They were defeated by second ranked Stal Ostrow (10-2) 80-65 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Krosno. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Stal Ostrow shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Tomasz Ochonko (183-86) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and swingman Adrian Mroczek-Truskowski (192-85) who added 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Stal Ostrow players scored in double figures. Stal Ostrow's coach Mikolaj Czaja used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Andrzej Misiewicz (199-84, college: Daytona Beach CC) with 12 points and 7 rebounds and Adam Parzych (190-86, college: Bryant, agency: Promotex) scored 12 points. Stal Ostrow keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Sokol Lancut and Krosno. Krosno will play next round against Pogon Prudnik trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Stal Ostrow will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Znicz Basket in Pruszkow.
