Second-ranked Okinawa GK (16-3) was very close to win a game against first ranked Iwate Big Bulls (20-1) on Saturday. Iwate Big Bulls managed to secure only three-point victory 69-66. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Okinawa GK. The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-66. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Iwate Big Bulls made 8 blocks.
