No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Osaka Evessa (14-7) crushed at home 7th ranked Shinshu BW (7-10) 89-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Osaka Evessa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Shinshu BW to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Osaka Evessa forced 19 Shinshu BW turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Shinshu BW's players. American players dominated also this game. It was a good game for center Jonathan Kreft (213-86, college: Florida St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Joshua Dollard (203-86, college: USC Aiken) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Osaka Evessa players scored in double figures. Osaka Evessa's coach Shunsuke Todo felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Carl Hall (203-89, college: Wichita St.) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Patrick Sanders (198-85, college: Cal-Irvine) added 12 points in the effort for Shinshu BW. The victory was the third consecutive win for Osaka Evessa. They maintain fourth place with 14-7 record, which they share with Toyama Grouses. Loser Shinshu BW keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Osaka Evessa will face again Shinshu BW (#7) in Nagano in the next round.
