Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked CAI Zaragoza (6-5) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Regal FC Barcelona (9-2) 90-67 on Sunday. The game without a history. Regal FC Barcelona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to CAI Zaragoza's 38. Regal FC Barcelona looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for German center Tibor Pleiss (217-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Croatian swingman Mario Hezonja (202-95) helped adding 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Regal FC Barcelona players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian center Rasko Katic (208-80, agency: Beo Basket) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Real Madrid. Loser CAI Zaragoza dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Regal FC Barcelona will face Asefa Estudiantes (#14) in Madrid in the next round which should be another easy win for them. CAI Zaragoza will play at home against the league's leader Unicaja Malaga (#1) and hope to win that game.
