Regular Season Round 11: G.Canaria 2014 - Iberostar Tener. 79-64
Date: December 14, 2014
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Las Palmas where eleventh ranked G.Canaria 2014 (5-6) defeated 10th ranked CB Canarias (5-6) 79-64 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-64. It was a great evening for naturalized Cape Verdean center Walter Tavares (220-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds. Dominican forward Eulis Baez (201-82, college: W.Illinois) helped adding 13 points and 5 rebounds. Argentinian-Italian point guard Nicolas Richotti (183-86) responded with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and American forward Luke Sikma (203-89, college: Portland) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds.
