Regular Season Round 10: KFUM Uppsala - Jarfalla 88-71

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Jarfalla (2-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked KFUM Uppsala (7-2) 88-71 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-71. KFUM Uppsala outrebounded Jarfalla 46-33 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Lukas Friberg (183-95) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Forward Oliver Ehrnvall (197-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Four KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. point guard Gino Panghulan (175-90) produced 15 points and forward Nemanja Jovanovic (200-91) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. KFUM Uppsala keeps a position of North leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Jarfalla lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost. KFUM Uppsala will face Alvik Basket (#4) in Bromma in the next round. Jarfalla will play at home against Taby Basket (#6) and hope to win that game.
