Regular Season Round 13: Haneda Vickies - Toyota A. 42-75

Bottom-ranked Haneda Vickies (0-12) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to fifth ranked Toyota A. (9-3) 75-42. The game without a history. Toyota A. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Haneda Vickies to just 5 points in third quarter. Toyota A. dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Haneda Vickies' 26. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. International forward Mika Kurihara (178-89) nailed 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and center Mori Binge (180-88) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Yuki Morimoto (177-84) came up with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and center Wu Anjiang (181-91) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Haneda Vickies in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyota A. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Chanson V-M. Haneda Vickies at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Toyota A. will play against Hitachi Cougars (#9) in Hitachinaka in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Haneda Vickies will play at home against JX-Eneos S. and hope to get finally their first victory.
