Regular Season Round 19: Shandong FB - Jiangsu TX 104-85

There was no surprise in Jinan where 20th ranked Jiangsu TX (3-16) was crushed by twelfth ranked Shandong Bulls (10-9) 104-85. The game was mostly controlled by Shandong Bulls. Jiangsu TX was better in fourth quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Earl Clark (208-88, college: Louisville) who led the winners and scored 31 points and 7 rebounds. American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) accounted for 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. American center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) came up with 28 points and 9 rebounds and Iranian point guard Mahdi Kamrani (181-82) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively for Jiangsu TX in the defeat. Five Shandong Bulls and four Jiangsu TX players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Shandong Bulls moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Foshan LL and Shanghai S. Jiangsu TX at the other side stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Shandong Bulls' next round opponent will be Jiangsu Dragons (#13) in Nanjing. Jiangsu TX will play at home against Qingdao Eagles (#7) and hope to win that game.
