Everything went according to plan in Hangzhou where fifteenth ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (6-13) won against 18th ranked Bayi Rockets (3-16) 111-98. The game was mostly controlled by Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. Bayi Rockets was better in fourth quarter 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 28 personal fouls committed by Bayi Rockets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) who led the winners and scored 29 points. Guard Qian Wu (190-94) accounted for 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. The former international forward Lei Wang (203-86) came up with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Yuchen Zou (197-96) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Bayi Rockets in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bayi Rockets' coach tested twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with TianJin S. Bayi Rockets lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with 16 games lost. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's next round opponent will be higher ranked Shanghai Sharks (#11) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bayi Rockets will play against Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
