Leader Liaoning Hunters delivered the nineteenth victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 16th ranked Fujian (4-15) 134-104 in Jinjiang. The game without a history. Liaoning Hunters led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Fujian's 54 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Liaoning Hunters forced 21 Fujian turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Liaoning Hunters looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Deon Thompson (203-88, college: N.Carolina) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) helped adding 30 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). At the losing side forward Linjian Linjian (198-93) responded with 26 points and 4 assists and international Zhelin Wang (215-94) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Liaoning Hunters maintains first place with 19-1 record. Fujian lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Sichuan BW. Liaoning Hunters will meet at home Foshan (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fujian will play against TianJin Steel (#15) in Tianjin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
