No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (15-5) beat 18th ranked Bayi Rockets (3-17) in Ningbo 110-104 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 34-24 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Rockets' 52 and made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Bayi Rockets 48-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by American power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and center Zheng Wang (216-90) supported him with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Even 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by the former international guard Shuo Han (196-86) did not help to save the game for Bayi Rockets. Forward Yuchen Zou (197-96) added 25 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to third place, which they share with Beijing Ducks. Bayi Rockets lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Jiangsu TX and Chongqing FD. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Hangzhou to the arena Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank.
