There was no surprise when 6th ranked PMINA Esfahan (3-6) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Naft Abadan (6-4) 86-78. PMINA Esfahan was ahead by 22 points after three quarters before a 37-7 charge of Naft Abadan, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding PMINA Esfahan to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Naft Abadan forced 21 PMINA Esfahan turnovers.
