Leader Azad delivered the ninth win on Thursday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Shahrdari Gorgan (3-7) 57-48 in Tehran. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning next two quarters and won the game by 9 points. Azad forced 21 Shahrdari Gorgan turnovers. The best player for the winners was international guard Javad Davari (185-83) who scored 17 points. International Mohammad Hassanzadeh (203-90) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Pouya Tajik (201-80) produced 13 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Hooman Rezaei (208-81) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
