Regular Season Round 11: Mahram - Sanaye 95-52

Second ranked Mahram blasted bottom-ranked Sanaye (0-10) in Tehran 95-52. Sanaye is still unable to win any game. The game without a history. Mahram led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Sanaye's 38. Mahram forced 21 Sanaye turnovers and outrebounded them 54-32 including a 38-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Sanaye's players. Mahram brought some defensive toughness making 11 blocks. International Vahid Dalirzahan (199-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds. International forward Amir Sedighi (203-93) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Mahram's coach Mostafa Hashemi felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International Farid Haghayeghi (190-85) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Reza Babrshekan added 4 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Sanaye. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mahram. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Azad. Sanaye lost their tenth game in a row. They still close the standings with ten games lost. Mahram will again play against bottom-ranked Sanaye (#9) in Mahshahr in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sanaye will have a break next round.
