Regular Season Round 12: Dunkerque - Roche 79-74

There was a change at the LF2 leadership position after last games. Round 12 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Roche (10-2). They were defeated by third ranked Dunkerque (9-3) 79-74 on Thursday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Roche. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 21-9 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Keisha Hampton (187-90, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists and forward Anais Viale (188-91) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized Senegalese forward Mariame Dia (185-78) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Slovakian guard Gabriela Kubatova (171-84) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Four Dunkerque and five Roche players scored in double figures. Dunkerque have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-3 record having just two points less than leader Nice. Roche at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Nice. Roche will play next round against league's leader Nice trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Dunkerque will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Avenir in Chartres.
