There was no surprise when 7th ranked TLU/Kalev (3-13) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked KK Parnu (7-6) 84-70. The game was mostly controlled by KK Parnu. TLU/Kalev was better in fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TLU/Kalev 41-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. KK Parnu players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Swingman Rannar Raap (188-92) nailed 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side and naturalized American forward Renato Lindmets (200-84, college: Westfield St.) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. KK Parnu's coach Mait Kabin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Lithuanian center Robertas Grabauskas (208-90, college: Northwood) came up with 22 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) added 23 points and 5 assists respectively for TLU/Kalev in the defeat. KK Parnu moved-up to third place, which they share with Tarvas and Rapla. TLU/Kalev at the other side keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost.
