There was no surprise when 11th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (4-20) was crushed at home by second ranked Akita Happinets (20-4) 108-59 on Friday. The game without a history. Akita Happinets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Cinq R.'s 42. They outrebounded Tokyo Cinq R. 50-31 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Akita Happinets looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Tokyo Cinq R.'s players. The game was also dominated by American players.
