We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when third ranked Henan (4-15) defeated their biggest opponent Whale (7-12) in Sichuan 70-60 on Friday. The game without a history. Henan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a very good performance for the former international forward Xiaoli Chen (193-82) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Jie Sun (183-91) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward XiaoChen Guo (183-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Jun Yuan (180-88) added 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Whale. Newly promoted Henan maintains third position in Places 9-12 with 4-15 record having ten points less than leader Beijing, which they share with Zhejiang. Whale at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the second place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
