Regular Season Round 21: LF Basket - Boras 88-70

The game in Lulea was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Boras Basket (10-5) played at the court of sixth ranked LF Basket (10-5). LF Basket did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 88-70 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 18 points. LF Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and the former international swingman Christopher Ryan (196-90) chipped in 16 points and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international Christian Maraker (206-82, college: Pacific) with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard James Miller (182-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. LF Basket have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Boras. Boras Basket lost third consecutive game. LF Basket will meet at home higher ranked Sundsvall Dragons (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Boras Basket will play against the league's second-placed Sodertalje Kings and hope to secure a win.
