There was no surprise when 5th ranked Shiga L-Stars (11-6) were defeated on the road by third ranked Okinawa GK (18-3) 80-67 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-67. Okinawa GK made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds.
