Regular Season Round 8: Valladolid - Araski AES 41-61

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Universidad de Valladolid (1-7) was crushed at home by ninth ranked Araski AES (3-5) 61-41 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Araski AES. Universidad de Valladolid was better in fourth quarter 14-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Araski AES dominated on the defensive end, holding Universidad de Valladolid to just 6 points in first quarter and to 14 points in first half. The best player for the winners was Ghanian-American point guard Rosetta Adzasu (167-90, college: Washington St.) who scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
