Fourth ranked Rubon (7-3) crushed at home 6th ranked BGU Minsk (4-6) by 50 points 103-53, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Rubon. BGU Minsk managed to win second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rubon dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to BGU Minsk's 34 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Rubon forced 30 BGU Minsk turnovers and outrebounded them 60-37 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Marsel Ovsepian (202-90) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Aleksey Prokopenko (195-92) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Five Rubon players scored in double figures. Rubon's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Andrei Tsyvinski (197-91) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Roman Gladkih (200-96) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Rubon maintains fourth place with 7-3 record. BGU Minsk lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Impuls BGUIR.
