Rather expected game when 6th ranked Jefes (13-10) lost on the road to third ranked Halcones UV Xalapa (15-5) 89-82 on Saturday. Jefes trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 21-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 82-89 at the end of the game. Halcones UV Xalapa looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Jefes' players. It was a good game for American-FYR Macedonian forward Kennedy Winston (199-84, college: Alabama, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
