The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Sanda Basket's (2-8) home loss to eighth ranked Talje Knights (5-5) in Huskvarna 63-88 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-63. Talje Knights made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Sanda Basket turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Samuel Berkelund (201-97) who led the winners and scored 46 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Forward Ludvig Swanstrom (196-96) accounted for 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Marcus Larsson (191-97) came up with 12 points and forward David Akerberg (196-96) added 13 points respectively for Sanda Basket in the defeat. Sanda Basket's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Talje Knights moved-up to sixth place in South, which they share with Helsingborg. Loser Sanda Basket keeps the ninth position with eight games lost.
