International swingman Martina Crippa (178-89, agency: Players Group) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) and American forward Kayla Pedersen (193-89, college: Stanford, agency: LBM Management) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Lucca in the defeat. Venezia moved-up to fourth place, which they share with San Martino. Lucca at the other side dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Battipaglia and Napoli. Venezia will meet at home Cagliari CUS (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Lucca will play against Lavezzini PR and hope to secure a win.
