Rather expected game when 9th ranked Akropol (3-9) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Telge (6-6) 69-61. The hosts were already 13 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 17-12 Akropol's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 69-61 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Akropol 57-26 including a 21-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for international guard Stefanie Yderstrom (173-90, college: Miami, FL) who led her team to a victory with 25 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Josefin Olheim (176-86) contributed with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international forward Cecilia Ferm (178-75) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian guard Jovana Ciric (173-83) added 15 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Akropol. Telge moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Akropol keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with Visby. Telge will play against higher ranked Sallen (#3) in Uppsala in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Akropol will play on the road against the league's leader Umea (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
