Regular Season Round 14: Palma - Prat 75-73

Fourteenth-ranked CB Prat (3-10) made lots of trouble for eighth ranked Palma (7-6) in S'Arenal. Palma managed to secure only two-point victory 75-73. However their fans expected much easier game. CB Prat was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Strangely CB Prat outrebounded Palma 45-33 including 30 on the defensive glass. Power forward Antoni Vicens (203-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. American Shawn Glover (201-90, college: ORU, agency: Comsport) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Alberto Abalde (200-95) replied with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Montenegrin center Zoran Nikolic (211-96) added 13 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for CB Prat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. CB Prat's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Palma moved-up to seventh place. CB Prat lost fourth consecutive game. CB Prat at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the bottom position with ten games lost. They share it with Cocinas.com. Palma will play against Oviedo CB (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. CB Prat will play against Leche Rio Breogan and hopes to get back on the winning track.
