Regular Season Round 13: Tezenis VE - Forli 125-37

Leader Tezenis VE delivered the eleventh win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 13th ranked Forli (4-9) 125-37 in Verona. The game without a history. Tezenis VE led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Forli to just 6 points in third quarter. Tezenis VE held Forli to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 69.9 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Forli 52-24 including a 43-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Tezenis VE especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Forli's players. Guard Saverio Mazzantini (194-95) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Center Riccardo Bartolozzi (202-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Tezenis VE's coach Alessandro Ramagli felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aziz Yabre produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Stefano Saletti (197-97) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Tezenis VE maintains first place with 11-2 record. Forli lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Fileni BPA Jesi. Tezenis VE are looking forward to face FCM Ferentino (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Forli will play against CZG Veroli (#16) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
