There was no surprise when 16th ranked CZG Veroli (2-11) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Manital Torino (9-4) 97-93. CZG Veroli was ahead by 13 points at the halftime before a 55-38 second half run of Manital Torino. They made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. CZG Veroli was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Jacopo Giachetti (190-83) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 5 steals.
