An interesting game for Aishin Sea Horses (19-0) which played road game in Hiroshima against 3rd ranked Dragonflies (11-10). Top-ranked Aishin Sea Horses managed to get a 11-point victory 74-63. The game without a history. Aishin Sea Horses led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by the former international center J.R. Sakuragi (206-76, college: UCLA) who scored that evening 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Gavin Edwards (206-88, college: Connecticut) supported him with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. Aishin Sea Horses' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds by American power forward Clint Chapman (208-89, college: Texas) did not help to save the game for Dragonflies. Senegalese center Pape Faye (200-87) added 16 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Aishin Sea Horses have an impressive 19-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-0 record. Dragonflies lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the third place with ten games lost. Aishin Sea Horses will meet league's second-placed Mitsubishi Dolphins in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dragonflies will have a break next round.
