Regular Season Round 14: Limoges - Paris-Levallois 73-65

ProA top team - Limoges CSP Elite (12-2) added another victory to their record on Tuesday. This time they beat seventh ranked Paris-Levallois (7-7) 73-65. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Paris-Levallois. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Paris-Levallois won third quarter 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Limoges CSP Elite looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Jamar Smith (191-87, college: S.Indiana, agency: KMG Sports Management) who scored 16 points. International forward Nobel Boungou-Colo (202-88) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Mike Green (185-85, college: Butler) produced 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-2 record. Paris-Levallois at the other side keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Limoges CSP Elite will meet Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Paris-Levallois will play against Sluc Nancy (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
