Superleague top team - Azad (10-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked PMINA Esfahan (3-7) 63-56. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Azad dominated on the defensive end, holding PMINA Esfahan to just 7 points in second quarter. They also forced 19 PMINA Esfahan turnovers. PMINA Esfahan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international forward Mohammad Reza Lotfi (198-83) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 6 rebounds and international power forward Rouzbeh Arghavan (214-88) who added 6 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
