Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Saitama Broncos (0-21) were rolled over at home by third ranked Okinawa GK (19-4) 95-61 on Saturday. The game without a history. Okinawa GK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Saitama Broncos' 32. Okinawa GK forced 20 Saitama Broncos turnovers and outrebounded them 46-31 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Okinawa GK looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Saitama Broncos' players. American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) stepped up and scored 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and guard Ryuichi Kishimoto (176-90) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots).
