There was a small surprise in Hangzhou where fourth ranked Zhejiang Far East (6-16) defeated second-best Whale (7-15) 81-69 on Sunday. The game without a history. Zhejiang Far East led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was forward XueMei Dong (180-92) who scored 27 points and 9 rebounds. International Song Gao (188-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Fan Feng (185-90) who recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Siyang Wu (182-91) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Zhejiang Far East maintains fourth position in Places 9-12 with 6-16 record. Whale lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the second place with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
