Very expected game when 16th ranked Sevilla (3-10) was smashed by twelfth ranked Laboral Kutxa (6-7) in Vitoria 100-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Laboral Kutxa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Laboral Kutxa outrebounded Sevilla 42-25 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sevilla's players. Sevilla was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for international swingman Fernando San Emeterio (199-84) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds. Georgian forward Tornike Shengelia (205-91) contributed with 16 points (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Center Willy Hernangomez (210-94) answered with 9 points and 6 rebounds and Latvian power forward Kristaps Porzingis (215-95) added 12 points in the effort for Sevilla. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Laboral Kutxa moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Sevilla lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with ten games lost. Laboral Kutxa will face higher ranked CAI Zaragoza (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
