Regular Season Round 25: Sichuan BW - DongGuan L. 106-128

The game with biggest result difference took place in Sichuan. Local Sichuan BW (5-20) was outscored by ninth ranked DongGuan Leopards (15-9) 128-106 on Sunday night. The game without a history. DongGuan Leopards led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) stepped up and scored 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners and Nigerian-American power forward Ikechukwu Diogu (204-83, college: Arizona St.) chipped in 19 points and 13 rebounds. DongGuan Leopards' coach Brian Goorjian felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (193-84, college: CS Northridge) responded with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and center Cheng Jia (207-91) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Four DongGuan Leopards and five Sichuan BW players scored in double figures. DongGuan Leopards have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place. Sichuan BW lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with 20 games lost. DongGuan Leopards will meet bottom-ranked Chongqing FD (#20) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Sichuan BW will play against the league's second-placed Guandong Tigers having rather not much hope for a victory.
