Regular Season Round 15: Prat - Breogan 83-86

Fifteenth-ranked CB Prat (3-11) used its home court advantage to challenge third ranked Leche Rio Breogan (10-4). The visitors from Lugo managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83. However their fans expected much easier game. CB Prat was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Daniel Lopez (188-82) who scored 22 points and 7 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Naturalized Senegalese power forward Mamadou Samb (210-89) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Leche Rio Breogan players scored in double figures. Leche Rio Breogan's coach Lisardo Gomez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Alex Ros (193-83) who recorded 16 points and 4 steals and swingman Alberto Abalde (200-95) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Leche Rio Breogan have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Planasa NV and Palencia. CB Prat lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. Leche Rio Breogan's next round opponent will be Burgos (#7) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game.
