No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Slask (10-3) crushed 9th ranked Anwil (5-8) in Wroclaw 91-72 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Slask. Anwil was better in fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Slask looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Anwil's players. Anwil was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for international swingman Jakub Dloniak (194-83, agency: Promotex) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. Serbian center Aleksandar Mladenovic (207-84, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Slask's coach Emil Rajkovic used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American swingman Chase Simon (198-89, college: Detroit Mercy) answered with 30 points (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and naturalized German forward Konrad Wysocki (200-82, college: Princeton) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Anwil. Slask moved-up to third place, which they share with Stelmet ZG. Loser Anwil dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Slask will face league's second-placed AZS Koszalin at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Anwil will play against AZS Polfarmex (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
