The most exciting game of round 13 in the Serie A took place in Avellino. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th ranked Air Avellino (7-6) to fifth ranked Enel Brindisi (9-4) 80-77 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Air Avellino. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 42-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American-Guyanese forward Delroy James (203-87, college: Rhode Island) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Justin Harper (208-89, college: Richmond) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Sundiata Gaines (185-86, college: Georgia) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Enel Brindisi have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Grissin Bon RE and Banco di Srd. Air Avellino at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Vanoli CR. Enel Brindisi is looking forward to face league's leader Armani Milano on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Air Avellino will play against Vanoli Cremona (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
