Date: December 29, 2014
Bottom-ranked Juvecaserta (0-13) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 95-84 loss to fifth ranked Banco di Srd (9-4) in Sassari. The game was mostly controlled by Banco di Srd. Juvecaserta was better in second period 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Jerome Dyson (191-87, college: Connecticut) nailed 17 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side and American-Polish guard David Logan (185-82, college: Indianapolis) accounted for 22 points. Five Banco di Srd players scored in double figures. Bulgarian power forward Dejan Ivanov (205-86, agency: Beo Basket) came up with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Carleton Scott (203-88, college: Notre Dame) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Juvecaserta in the defeat. Juvecaserta's coach Vincenzo Esposito rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Banco di Srd. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Grissin Bon RE and Enel Brindisi. Juvecaserta lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Banco di Srd's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Umana Venezia on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Juvecaserta will play against Trenkwalder RE (#5) in Reggio Emilia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
