Regular Season Round 22: Boras - Sodertalje 98-91

The most important game in the last round took place in Boras between second ranked Sodertalje Kings (11-4) and sixth ranked Boras Basket (11-5) on Tuesday night. Sodertalje Kings were defeated by Boras Basket in a tough game on the road 91-98. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sodertalje Kings. The hosts trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 32-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Boras Basket made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Christian Maraker (206-82, college: Pacific) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard James Miller (182-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) contributed with 22 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) replied with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 assists and Croatian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 23 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sodertalje Kings. Boras Basket moved-up to third place, which they share with LF Basket. Defending champion Sodertalje Kings keep the second position with four games lost. Boras Basket is looking forward to face Solna Vikings (#7) at home in the next round. Sodertalje Kings will play against LF Basket (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
