Regular Season Round 15: Fos Ouest - Antibes 77-62

An interesting game took place in Fos-sur-Mer, where higher ranked Olympique Antibes (9-6) lost to fourteenth ranked Fos Ouest (5-10) in a road game 62-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Olympique Antibes. The game was mostly controlled by Fos Ouest. Olympique Antibes was better in third quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fos Ouest forced 20 Olympique Antibes turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Edouard Choquet (188-88) accounted for 12 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Cameroonian center Junior MBida (206-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Willie Solomon (187-78, college: Clemson, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Olympique Antibes in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Fos Ouest moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Olympique Antibes at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. Fos Ouest's next round opponent will be higher ranked Saint-Quentin (#10) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
